Sistema in Norwich picks up the baton from In Harmony

Announcing a new Sistema for Norwich

Sistema in Norwich has grown out of the wonderful work created by In Harmony Norwich and Sistema England but is a new and independent programme run by NORCA based on the Venezuelan El Sistema approach, inspired by the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra. Both Catton Grove Primary School and Larkman Primary School are looking forward to the new term with the Sistema in Norwich team continuing to work with them! Click on the images below to read more. In the links at the top you can watch films and look at photographs of some of our work and read what people say.

A Sistema programme is a way of working with children and music to enable them to learn to play an instrument in an orchestra in a fun and inspiring way, by learning together and playing together in front of an audience right from the start, particularly with children who may not have access to musical learning in other ways. It helps them to gain confidence, work together and achieve. It works!
