Former Norfolk Young Musician Finn McEwen is back in town on Tuesday 20 March at Norwich School

Finn McEwen is back in Norwich, having been Norfolk Young Musician of the Year in 2013 before he went off the the Guildhall School of Music to study classical saxophone, Now in his final year, he is returning to his native Norwich for a free concert at the Norwich School Crypt. Finn attended Norwich School for his final year in Norwich after completing his secondary education at City of Norwich School (CNS) and is destined for a great career as a professional musician.

The concert on Tuesday is free. The Crypt is in the main area of the Cathedral Close

Britten Sinfonia Academy Open Rehearsal Saturday 14 October 4-5pm

Britten Sinfonia Academy is a great opportunity for young musicians, like a Saturday school. They are offering a chance to see how it all works and talk to people who are already involved next Saturday at Theatre Royal Norwich. They are holding an open rehearsal next week for anyone who would like to find out more about us or may be considering joining the orchestra. 8 hours per week for 6 months from  mid – February  2014.
The Voice Project are  based in Norwich and specialise in creating new vocal music performances for festivals, galleries, museums and special events. We have been creating projects for large scale, open -access community choirs since 2003 and work with composers and poets, instrumentalists and singers, professional artists and community participants .
