Outside of Norwich, the great county of Norfolk has many great venues and centres of culture, including some excellent music on offer. Sometimes, the concerts are by Norwich based orchestras or music groups who perform at out-of-town venues and sometimes they are venues programming their own season. Raynham Hall is good example of such a venue – a privately owned stately home and the seat of the Townshend family for over 400 years, it is a magnificent concert venue.
Raynham Recitals is a regular season of the best quality work in fine and beautiful surroundings – intimate and powerful – usually followed by the opportunity to ‘picnic’ in the grand dining room of the hall.
