This coming weekend there could hardly be a greater contrast between concerts on consecutive days – a Saturday evening cabaret style concert given by the ever popular PENELOPE TURNER with ANDREW WISE in their highly entertaining review of Kurt Weill numbers, this year titled Weill at Sea.
The following day at 6.30pm we have the subtle and delicate sounds of the lute when the brilliant LYNDA SAYCE gives a programme of music by John Dowland and his English contemporaries. I hope that one of these evenings – perhaps both? – will tempt you to Park Lane. All the best, Roger
