About the program: The Anteros Arts Foundation is proud to welcome “Bulgarian-born piano dynamo” (Time Out New York) Tania Stavreva from New York, with a unique, diverse and exciting program featuring composers from eight different nationalities: F. Chopin (Poland), Bulgarian composers Vladigerov, Stoyanov and Stavreva, Erik Satie (France), Federico Mompou (Spain), Alberto Ginastera (Argentina), Mason Bates (USA), N. Kapustin (Russia), including the UK premiere of Italian composer Roberto Piana’s Preludes: “Whispering Noon” based on a painting by Sir Lawrence, “Nerissa” based on a painting by John William Godward and “A Girl With A Basket Of Fruit” – based on a painting by Lord Leighton Eucharis. The program will be one hour long without intermission. Reception is immediately following the performance.
