Please note that Andrew Tyson is replacing Anna Federova as per note below:
Unfortunately ANNA FEDEROVA who was to have given recital at the Assembly House on Thursday has had to withdraw due to a hand injury. We have however been very fortunate however to find a magnificent replacement. He is the young American piano virtuoso ANDREW TYSON who happens to be on tour in Europe and has agreed to divert to Norwich to replace Anna. BBC Radio 3 reviewers of Andrew’s latest disc described him as a “a real poet of the piano”. In 2015, he won the Géza Anda Competition in Zürich and is also a laureate of the Leeds International Piano Competition where he won the new Terence Judd-Hallé Orchestra Prize. Unfortunately the programmes have had to be changed as below.
I hope very much that you will feel able to support these concerts but if you have booked and wish not to attend the Assembly House concert as a result please contact Iain lowery on 07708 6940878.
These things to not happen too often and I thank you for your understanding, Roger
PS Don’t forget Cedric Tiberghien’s pre-Wigmore recital on Thursday 7th!
