And at The Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre in Cley-next-the Sea, String Fillies are running a workshop followed by a concert.
Saturday 6 May
String Fillies Song-writing Workshop 2-4pm : with harpist and musician Xenia Horne and friends. £16.50 some concessions
String Fillies Concert 7.30pm : Norfolk Wildlife Trust
A special musical performance combining traditional music making with tunes and songs from the Gaelic and Celtic traditions and influences from Russia and Georgia. A magical combination of concert harp, cello, violin and voices with music specifically chosen to connect to the marshes and life in North Norfolk. Doors open 6.30pm with licensed bar and light meals, performance 7.30pm.
Sunday 7 May – Confluence project: Drawing inspiration from the waterways, marshes and coastlines of the artists’ East Anglia homes. This is a visual and auditory in-the-moment experience to communicate and reflect the natural world using piano improvisation and multi-media visual arts. Featuring pianist Adrian Lever and Martin Laurance with back-lit projected works by the artists Bill Vine, Sarah Cannell, and Alison Harvey. Doors open 6.30pm with licensed bar and light meals, performance 7.30pm.
