The much heralded young Venetian pianist Gloria Campaner makes one of her rare visits to the UK to give a recital in the chapel next Sunday with a very attractive programme including Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and Debussy’sClair de Lune. She made her debut with the Venetian Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12 and since then has gone on to win many awards, including the Paderewski International Competition and in 2011 she was named ‘European Ambassador for Culture’ as part of the EU cultural programme.
