A Trip to Africa (Die Afrikareise)

Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich
Concert performance of Franz von Suppé’s long-forgotten comic opera A Trip to Africa or Die Afrikareise. This will be its premiere performance in the UK, and the first worldwide since 1922.
Conducted by Dario Salvi.
Music by the Imperial Vienna Orchestra and the Octagon Singers, with a cast of soloists.
