Those of you who heard this brilliant young ensemble on their last visit to the chapel will need no persuading that the unusual combination of flute, harp and viola can produce some beguiling music including Debussy’s wonderful Sonata. This recital is also distinguished by the fact that it will include the world premiere of an especially composed work for the ensemble by Misha Mullov-Abbado, son of the famous conductor and now a distinguished jazz bass player as well as an increasingly respected composer. He will be with us in Norwich to introduce what promises to be an intriguing new piece.
Hope to see you there, Roger Rowe
