Last week the concert at The Chapel, Park Lane organised by Roger Rowe with Ben Johnson/Tom Primrose had to be cancelled due to travel problems.
It has been rescheduled for FRIDAY 20th MAY at 7.30pm so hopefully that is ok for those who were going to attend last week. Roger is hoping it will be a sellout as all proceeds go to support the Southrepps Festival in August.
Roger says ‘The next few weeks have developed into something of a songfest, in addition to Elizabeth Watts recital on July 10th there is a new recital scheduled for Friday 3rd June featuring the much acclaimed mezzo Susan Platts who with the American horn player Neil Kimel & pianist Libby Burgess. They play a mouth watering programme of Schubert, Britten and Mahler – details below – and don’t forget John Mills on 26th June – hope to see you, Roger’
